QUALIFICATIONS for a Security Officer/ Security Guard
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year security experience is a plus
- Education: High School Diploma/GED
- State Guard License SORA is a plus
- Some sites requires applicants to have valid Driver’s License
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to stand, sitting and walking for the majority of shift or periods of time
- Must have excellent Customer Service skills
- Security positions require to pass company drug screen and back ground check
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responds to fire alarms or other emergency calls
- Patrols assigned area on foot or using vehicle to regulate traffic, control crowds, prevent crime, or detain violators
- Patrols periodically, buildings and grounds of industrial plant or commercial establishment, docks, or work site
- Examines doors, windows, and gates to determine that they are secure Security Clearance needed:
